NIO COCKTAIL BOX COSMOPOLITAN

NIO Iconically pink, the Cosmopolitan was born by Cheryl Cook, bartender and owner of The Strand in Miami. His words tell the birth of the drink better than anyone else: " It was about 1985; the Martini was back in fashion, with its classic glass. The women didn't seem to like the cocktail very much but liked to be seen with the Martini cup in hand. This gave me the idea of creating a cocktail that could please anyone and was fine in this classic glass ".

Many sources credit today's Cosmo popularity to the mid-1980s and Cheryl Cook, a bartender in Miami who was called The Martini Queen of South Beach. Cook wanted to give the Martini a twist that would make it visually appealing and more popular with women.
